Front Porch Sweets, LLC Gluten Free Cookies {Product Review}

I love cookies - any type (well, all except lemon), but chocolate chip cookies are by far my favorite! It's also my go to snack when friends come over. Warm gooey cookies right out of the oven with an awesome smell that fills my house?! Ummm, yes please!

The only issue with making this sweet treat? There are so many dietary restrictions now a days, I'm nervous to serve something that could cause allergies. More and more people I know have wheat or other food allergies, and the last thing I want to do is send someone home because of a reaction to my food - and then they wont be my friend again. Okay, little dramatic but you get the point. ;)

But here is the FABULOUS news!  A friend from college started a new business of Gluten Free foods!

Courtney, founder and baker extraordinaire, started Front Porch Sweets, LLC in Atlanta. Being gluten free, she was having a hard time enjoying foods out at parties, weddings and hanging out with friends. In 2012, she started her own business to make Gluten Free living easier and tastier with quick mixes that can be enjoyed by Gluten Free or non-Gluten Free peeps. Did  I mention this stuff is incredibly delicious too?!?!? Sign me up!

I ordered Leah's chocolate chip cookie mix to try out. I got the cutest packaged cookie mix in the mail and torn into it immediately.

I opened my dry mix ingredients and realized I only needed to add 2 other ingredients. Oh yes, I knew I was already in love with this mix. I'm all about simplicity when baking.

The directions were easy to follow. I only needed 3 ingredients - the bag, butter and an egg - mix together and put in the oven.

I pulled them out of the oven and my hubs and I each took one cookie at first.

  As I sat down with a cookie and bit into it, I was amazed. It tasted just like a cake stores cookies - but better and fresh! They were moist, decedent and best of all - allergy free! We ended up going back and taking a handful more - the one cookie at a time rule didn't apply in our household that day.

I took a sampling to two of my friends at work the next day and they devoured them! Seriously, these bad boys were gone in a matter of minutes.

I highly suggest you go and order the Leah's cookies - I know you won't regret it.
